Thank you all for your concern and I'm sorry for not getting back to it sooner. Hurricane Ike did hit Texas over the weekend. It hit Houston and Galvaston really bad. Thank God it didn't hit Abilene, the place where I am but it rained non stop for a whole week.. that's about it. People were asked to evacuate Houston but there are still some stubborn residents that refused to do so which is why there are people stuck there. Rescue teams have been out for relief so that's good. They kinda underestimated the Ike but it's all under control I hope. It's not as bad as Hurricane Katrina. It's heading up towards Canada now, I think. But don't worry guys, i'm still alive and kicking. haven't drowned in the storm yet. haha classes are still going on as usual unfortunately.. haha so everything is good. THANKS FOR ASKING!
