Wonderful wonderful thing happened yesterday!

Miss Ooi Ai Fern called me from Aussie land!!!

I enjoyed chatting and catching up with her over the phone...Still as 'lala' & 'ah lian' as ever... her I mean not me...

She is apparently expanding my business over there in Aussie land...haha so Cheang Ee Ping, how is business at USM??? Lynette Lee, how is business in Kedah???

Internship

At the request of Cheang Ee Ping, and many others, I am going to update my blog.

I have already finish my finals. Got done on Wednesday. Right now is holiday time. haha

But I have an internship in College Station, Tx.

My room mate and I drove here yesterday. It was about a 5 hour drive.

I start my internship on Monday. Pretty excited!

Erm.. don't know when I'll get to take pictures but I got the chance I guess I'll post it here?

No, actually I think I more likely to post in on facebook. haha

I thought I'd take some time off my studying to update my pitiful blog a little bit...
Finals week is creeping up slowly but surely... actually faster than I thought it would but good news is one more week and the semester is over... for you STPM people out there.. CONGRATULATIONS ON A LONG 1 1/2 YR.. you guys did well and good... be proud of yourselves as I am very proud of you guys... Take this period before your doom's day arrives to enjoy a little break... spend time with family, friends (in town or back for holidays) ;) and enjoy Penang for people like Gim, Paul and myself that have to suffer the 'wonderful' American food.... :(
I heard about the reunion for 5 Science 1 and wish that I could be there... :( I'm sure Gim and Paul feels the same way.. Those that are in town, please try your best to make it... bowling sounds like fun.. maybe.. hehe.... oh yes, btw, go get a job you post-STPMers... just because you guys had a long year and a half, doesn't mean you guys can sit at home and shake your legs... :)
And yes, to confirm the rumor... We will be meeting up in Phoenix, Arizona for this Christmas break.... 2 weeks... short but it'll be good.. it'll be good to see both of them... maybe... i don't know :p haha... then after that it'll be back to school again.... I'm gonna make a public gratitude to Pauline Khoo for her kindness in requesting a shelter for all of us at her relative's place... so KAM XIA, PKPC.... hehe
ok.. this is the best I can do.. bed is calling out to me... until then.... peace out...

My sincere apologies to all of you as I did not write a post as promised on my birthday... which i shall make up for now...
yes, indeed, i have an amazing birthday...only thing missing would be you guys... :)
let's see, where should i start... a Malaysian friend from ACU(another college) had a small get together with some other Malaysians and locals and cooked a Malaysian meal... NASI LEMAK...IT WAS GOOD... REALLY GOOD... and there was also green tea cream puffs, tiramisu cake, ayam kurma, sambal ikan bilis, yum yum, to have all this in a foreign country is haven... no kidding.. then i get to play video games.. so that was really awesome.. hehe
wish you guys were there with me to celebrate my aging another year... haha
nothing is the same without you guys, sad to say.. haha
but thank you all for your wishes... and the birthday card which arrived centuries ago but you know me, never got a chance to post it up on the blog.. so thank you all for remembering even though i'm millions of miles away...
school has been usual.. moderate... not too busy.. and not too unbusy either.. :)
That person who cooked the nasi lemak, is having his birthday soon... we're planning a surprise birthday party for him... potluck.. i'm gonna cook porridge just you know to show my appreciation because he cooked so many things on my birthday.. i know not appropriate but it's the easiest thing! mix altogether, stick it in the slow cooker.. hehe
and btw, we had a Malaysian cookout this past weekend... bak kut teh.. believe it or not... haha curry chicken.... hehe..muar chee... yea, get this muar chee... hehe
so hopefully my porridge cooking goes well, it will be this Thursday... thanksgiving is coming up too.. so that means holiday for me and turkey and gravey etc.... food...ah... okok

for those of you taking STPM.. all the best... try your best and God will do the rest... it's almost over... and those that are in college... well, semester's almost over... for me anyway.... but hang in there... do what you can... don't forget to enjoy life in the midst of the things that you guys have to do.. alright..

Birthday Eve

Technically, it's not my birthday yet cause i'm not born until at a later time... so, anyway, i just wanted to write about how well my day went... i finally got around to taking my Calculus test which i've been meaning to take for almost 6 mths and managed to get it out of the way... it's basically a test which if you pass, gives you credit for that class and you can skip that class and go on to the next level... so i'm excited and relieved that it's over and i passed... next would be my macroeconomics results that are back.... i did really good and i'm happy about it..... and i also got paid for helping a friend in my class study for a test tomorrow.. yes, test on my birthday... beat that... it's ok though... haha... and as for Gim and Paul, so sorry for not being able to answer your calls as i was studying but i promise to call you guys back tomorrow... and as for the rest of the people that wished me one way or another... thank you so much for remembering and keeping me in your hearts... it'll be a good birthday even though i'm away from home... i'm pretty sure cause God always provides.... thank you all once again and i'll put up a post for the real day!
